Living with HAE may mean making some adjustments and managing things a bit differently. Getting support from someone who knows what it's like to have HAE can help you navigate through any challenges that come up so you can continue living a healthy, active life.

Shari, HAEGARDA advocate
It took me several years to learn to advocate for my health, but I will say: It starts with knowing your disease. Knowing yourself. I had to take each minute, each hour, each day at a time.

Our HAEGARDA Advocates are people who have personal experience living with HAE, so they know what you’re going through. They offer you encouragement, assistance, and advice by:

  • Sharing their own experiences with HAEGARDA and life with HAE
  • Answering nonmedical questions§
  • Helping you better understand and manage your therapy

I've recently learned about HAEGARDA (C1 Esterase Inhibitor Subcutaneous [Human]) for the prevention of swelling and/or painful attacks in adults and adolescents with hereditary angioedema (HAE).

I would like to ask if you also knew about HAEGARDA and whether this may be the right therapy for me. Can we please make an appointment to talk further? Looking forward to hearing your opinion, and please visit to learn more about this therapy.
